SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Chargers are struggling on offence. Andre Silva Jersey . If they keep playing this way, they will fall short of the playoffs.Philip Rivers threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Gates in the fourth quarter for San Diegos only touchdown in a 22-10 loss to Denver on Sunday. Peyton Manning played through a thigh injury and flu-like symptoms and Connor Barth kicked five field goals, sending the Broncos to their fourth straight AFC West title. The Chargers have scored just two offensive touchdowns in their last two games. They were shut out in the second half of a 23-14 loss to New England last Sunday.Weve scored two touchdowns now in eight quarters. Youre probably not going to win either of those games, Rivers said.Rivers completed 24 of 41 passes for 232 yards with two interceptions.Asked about the passing game struggles, he said: If you saw a lot more guys open, let me know. The Chargers (8-6) began the day as the AFCs No. 6 seed and saw their wild-card chances diminished. Its just a two-game streak against the two top teams in the conference, Rivers said. Were not in their company yet. Its not like weve lost to the bottom of the barrel.Manning was sick coming into the game and then came out late in the second quarter with a thigh injury he said he got while scrambling on a passing play.He returned for the start of the third quarter and on Denvers second possession threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas to give the Broncos a 16-3 lead. The Broncos (11-3) won their fourth straight game and are tied with New England for the AFCs best record. New England beat the Broncos 43-21 on Nov. 2.Denvers 12th straight division road win tied San Franciscos NFL record set from 1987-90.Manning completed 14 of 20 passes for 233 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.San Diego pulled within six on Gates TD with 10:13 left. Gates joined Rob Gronkowski as the only tight ends in NFL history with four seasons with at least 10 touchdown catches. Then Manning led the Broncos on a drive capped by Barths 49-yard field goal with 4:53 to play. After Aqib Talib intercepted Rivers, Barth kicked a 44-yarder to give the Broncos a 12-point lead.Barth also kicked three field goals in the first half, lifting Denver to a 9-0 lead when he connected from 19 yards out with 1:50 to go. His third field goal came after Denver had a touchdown wiped out by a replay review. On third-and-goal from the San Diego 1, C.J. Anderson started right but then cut back. Manning stepped up and blocked inside linebacker Donald Butler. Officials initially ruled Anderson scored, but the review showed his knee was down.Manning headed to the locker room. Butler was spun around on Mannings block and injured an elbow. The Broncos forced the Chargers to punt, and Mannings backup, Brock Osweiler, trotted out. After an incompletion on first down, Osweiler was whistled for intentional grounding after being pressured by Dwight Freeney.Denver punted and a 58-yard return by Eddie Royal, a former Broncos player, helped set up Nick Novaks 30-yard field goal. The Broncos got inside the Chargers 10 on consecutive drives in the first half but had to settle for field goals each time.Novak had a 46-yard attempt blocked by Derek Wolfe.Thomas had six catches for 123 yards and Anderson ran 29 times for 85 yards.Rahim Moore intercepted Rivers in the end zone and returned it to the 14 with 1:53 left in the game.It was much like last week as our defence did a heck of a job, Rivers said. They held them to one touchdown and five field goals and you ought to win.___Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP_NFL Gabriel Paletta Jersey .com) - The Grand Slam season will get underway Monday at the Australian Open in Melbourne, where a new champion will be crowned this year. Alessandro Plizzari Jersey . You can watch the game live on TSN and TSN GO at 3pm et/Noon pt. The Raptors (15-15) posted six road victories last month and have won seven of their last nine games overall. Toronto visits the Washington Wizards on Friday night. Tomorrow, for fun Im going to begin our tour team profiles. Youll get to know each crew member, and what they do from morning till night … Their gig is not an easy job and I think giving you the opportunity to see what their day is like will be quite interesting and informative. Check back tomorrow for more updates, and Ill let you know how tonights show went. L.A.M.F. JB Wednesday, November 19 What an outstanding show in Quebec city last night! The band has hit Midshore stride only shows in… Feeling invincible! Always nice to catch up with old friends, and hey, whenever you have the opportunity to have laundry on the road by the singer himself, you just cant pass that up - Thanks JM! We left at 2am after the gig and our outstanding lead to bus driver Randy tracked through 1070 KMs in record time. So yesterday, I promised to spice this diary thing up a little bit by doing profiles on members of the team that you normally dont get to know very well … The first member up to bat is James Welsh. On this run James is taking care of all drums and percussion and all bass and keyboards for both Stuart and I. Born: December 25, 1980 Age: 33 Occupation: Backline technician Question: So what got you interested in working with bands on the road? Answer: I was always working on guitars and other instruments at home and I always love traveling on my own time so its cited to do both at the same time. Question: How long of you been doing this as a career? Answer: Overall Ive been at this for 15 years but professionally over the last six years solid. Question: What is the most interesting thing that is ever happened to you while touring on the road, and with what band was it? Answer: Probably the most interesting thing Ive ever gotten to do touring was go to Afghanistan with the band Default. We did a show for the troops and spent a week on the base, got to travel around and meet all the different soldiers and see what they do day to day and what they were doing over there. Well, there you have it crew profile No. 1 done. James was a splendid candidate - tomorrow you get to meet none other than Bruce Nicol, the infamous guitar tech extraordinaire. Well, we just arrived in Halifax and its time for me to go run off the beers I drank last night. Ricardo Rodriguez Jersey. Catch you tomorrow ... L.A.M.F. JB Thursday, November 20 Just playing a little catch up here … Last night I was fortunate enough to go see Sarah McLachlan for the second time in a few weeks… Our good friend Brent Clark is her lighting designer and has done work with The Tea Party many times in the past. Having friends in the industry has a lot of perks and this is definitely one of them … The lighting show was truly outstanding and I have always been such a huge fan of Sarahs, that its a pleasure to see her working with full band, acoustically or at a production like this in her hometown of Halifax. This morning was a bit of a run around as the band had both television for the Maritimes and Q104 rock radio as well … Im on the bus right now warming up for our show at the Olympic Hall. Some pretty cool staging although, its not tall enough to support our amazing album artwork backdrop … Pretty geeked about doing another show in Halifax I must say. Something pretty cool happened today also while we were shopping at a music store across the street from the venue. A young guy, a drummer, was trying to buy some sticks but didnt have enough money, so I asked him what weight and model he used and it was very similar to mine. I told him to put his money away, and followed me to the venue. I gave him three pairs of sticks and put him on the guest list, because it really sucks when youre young musician and you can afford the tools you need to make your art, and then when you finally do make it everything seems to come for free or at a discounted price … It was a nice feeling to say the least. I was going to profile Bruce, the guitar tech today but he works so hard that hes had to crash before the show and grab a well-deserved nap. Come to think of it, I think Ill spread these profiles out a little bit more anyway so I dont inundate you with nothing but crew profiles over the next few days … We have three weeks more after all! Ill check in tomorrow once we are in Moncton for the casino show… Ill let you know how tonight show goes but I can guarantee you already its going to be outstanding!
